Danijel Djakovic

I grew up in Bern, surrounded by Italian families from Lecce and Calabria, where pasta, pizza and homemade tiramisù were part of everyday life. That is where I learned that good food creates love, community and unforgettable moments.

For more than 20 years, I have organised events in Bern and have always appreciated the magic of the little details. My dream was to run my own restaurant – a place that nourishes both body and soul.

In May 2025, I fulfilled this dream by taking over Ristorante Da Carlo. Here, I preserve classic Italian cuisine and hospitality while adding fresh ideas: atmospheric live music, a warm family-style ambience and carefully selected specialities.

I invite you to immerse yourself in the warmth of Italy by candlelight with a glass of Chianti and create new memories together.
