Da Carlo embodies the true Italian way of life – right in the heart of Bern. Since 1973, we have combined Italian tradition with warm hospitality and a cuisine centred around quality, provenance and authentic flavour.

Our philosophy is simple: only the best – nothing unnecessary. We carefully select our ingredients and are gradually introducing more organic products from Switzerland. Wherever possible, we work with regional and seasonal products from producers we trust. Because for us, quality also means taking responsibility for the product, the producer and our guests.

Enjoy handmade pasta, our slowly fermented sourdough pizza and selected Italian specialities, prepared with care and respect for every ingredient. Traditional recipes meet a modern and conscious approach to high-quality food.
